1and1.Com Review: Cocksucker Stole My Money

Stay away from 1And1.com like the fucking plague, folks! Don’t tell me I’ve not warned you.

We take your fucking money and run. That's what we do.
This is my first post of the year and I’m pissed, fucking livid.

No one wants a negative post to start a new year, right? But what you’re gonna do? When someone steals money from you, you stop him or her or at least try to stop the fucker from doing it to others.

That’s how it is. It can happen to anyone. It can happen to you. So you do everything in your power to tell the wanker to fuck off, and see to it that what happened to you won’t happen to anyone you know.

1And1.Com Will Rip Your Hard-Earned Money Off!

1and1 is a web hosting company that offers the most effective solutions to steal money from people masquerading as a web hosting company that provides domains, eCommerce, servers, email accounts and many other best proven ways to dupe customers and take their money.

Don't just take my word for it. Read this, this, and this. Follow this Twitter if you like or this Facebook. Okay you now get the picture.

So guys, consider yourself warned: stay the fuck away from 1And1.com like the fucking plague!

Fucking 1And1.Com Is A Company That’s Full Of Shit!

Here’s what happened.

You see, I’m poor web writer trying to earn an honest living through some writing projects I get from the internet. I also try to find other helpful ways to eke out some income through a niche website. So I bought a domain from 1and1 which was a mistake in the first place because I am not much of niche website guy and I didn't do my research about 1andrun. I paid my money for the domain and just parked it there. After exactly a year I decided to let go of the domain and cancel my subscription of 1andshit service after receiving annoying emails from them something about reviewing my account, updating this and that and to top it off they sent me an invoice. Annoyed I cancelled my entire account in the last week of December.

But lo and fucking behold, when I opened my email on January 1, 2013, PayPal sent me this receipt:
Hello customer,
You sent a payment of $____ USD to 1and1 Internet Inc.
(billing@1and1.com)

1And1 Internet Inc Are Ran By Shitheads!

Fucking thieving wankers, indeed. How did they do that? They still have access to my PayPal? Don’t I have to confirm anything involving my money on my account before PayPal sends any money to anyone. There must be some kind of a mistake. So I shoot 1and1 an angry email conveying my displeasure and anger as their customer. Also notified PayPal. PayPal says they will look into this, wait for 10 business days.

We’ve some interesting exchange of emails with 1and1. Apparently, they are not sending back my money. Some guy named, John Keefer, maybe the unfortunate guy who got the unfortunate shitty job of dealing with pissed off customers like me, and they must have a lot of us customers they’ve pissed off, sent me the last email thanking me for my patience. What?! Really John Keefer? How about thanking me for my money, John Keefer!

As you can see, I have a big mouth when someone plays dirty tricks on me. So I sent them a final email.

So that's how you operate you fucking wankers! Stealing money from people! You dirty thieving troglodytes! Apparently, you haven't read anything by Zig Ziglar on how to treat customers. You should learn from companies like GoDaddy and M2Host. They treat their customers fairly. Companies like them will go far in the business. 1and1.com's naughty tactics and dirty dealings will be your sodding downfall. Mark those words. Also word-of-mouth from us customers will see to it that you cocksuckers will burn to fucking oblivion.
There are millions of us and welcome to a whole new level of fucking internet infamy, 1and1!

1And1.Com Will Bleed You To Death.

Painful lesson, eh!?

With that, guys, use my experience to protect yourself and your investment. Be very careful with these kinds of companies that scrupulously use dirty tactics in the books to blag you out of your money.

Shit, shit, shit, fuck! I bloody work hard to earn that money, you fucking cocksuckers!

So remember everyone who makes a living off the internet, Stay Away From 1And1.Com Like The Fucking Plague.

That Time of Year Again (Thanks 2012)!

There’s something about the end of a year that makes me a bit mawkish. So before I continue with this, if you don’t mind, I need to fix myself a nice cold drink of Chivas Regal.

Need to put these somewhere safe, in my stomach.
[Full disclosure about the Chivas Regal: it was actually a Christmas leftover my girlfriend and I nicked from my sister’s neighbor’s party. We were invited and there was this huge buffet with plenty of foods, beers and liquors. We sang songs with the nice neighbors, ate their food, drink their wine, played games with them. Before it’s over, we ensured the safety of the three quarters full Chivas Regal. It was a good party.]

Here’s to 2012! Cheers!

Now that’s better.

Wait I need another one. Okay, that’s best.

Where were we? Oh. Well, it’s been a tradition on this blog since I started it in 2008 to write a post that wraps up the entire year, which also serves as a way to look back and see how I did. It contains mostly some of the highlights of another swell year gone by. Sometimes, or is it all the time, I include a few things I want to do next year – some goals I want to achieve, all that pretty stuff.

Let’s jump to the highlights.

First off, I’ve written 31 blog posts this year, 32 if you include this one, which make it 8 more posts than last year. That’s something to celebrate. Did I have it in my New Year resolution to blog more this year? Check. Taps back.

Here are the top 5 best posts of 2012:
Most posts are short, but also a laugh to read and honest.

Second off is my reading. This could be the slowest year, sorry to say that, with only 28 books I’ve read in all. That’s lame. Here’s the list anyway:
  1. True at First Light (Ernest Hemingway)
  2. Green Hills of Africa (Ernest Hemingway)
  3. The First Forty-Nine Stories (Ernest Hemingway)
  4. The Pocket Book of O. Henry Stories
  5. The Art of War (Sun Tzu)
  6. The Thin Man (Dashiell Hammett)
  7. My Best Friends (George Burns)
  8. H.P. Lovecraft: A Biography (L. Sprague de Camp)
  9. George Bernard Shaw: An Unauthorised Biography Based on Firsthand Information (Frank Harris)
  10. The Mystery of Georges Simenon (Fenton Bresler)
  11. Goldfinger (Ian Fleming)
  12. The Illustrated Man (Ray Bradbury)
  13. The Martian Chronicles (Ray Bradbury)
  14. Spider Kiss (Harlan Ellison)
  15. The Hilliker Curse (James Ellroy)
  16. Life of Pi (Yann Martel)
  17. A Game of A Thrones (George R.R. Martin)
  18. A Clash of Kings (George R.R. Martin)
  19. A Storm of Swords (George R.R. Martin)
  20. A Feast for Crows (George R.R. Martin)
  21. A Dance with Dragons (George R.R. Martin)
  22. Bukowski: A Life (Neeli Cherkovski)
  23. Harlan Ellison's Watching (Harlan Ellison)
  24. No Easy Day (Mark Owen)
  25. Fearless: The Undaunted Courage and Ultimate Sacrifice of Navy SEAL Team SIX Operator Adam Brown (Eric Blehm)
  26. On the Road: The Original Scroll (Jack Kerouac)
  27. Post Office (Charles Bukowski)
  28. Snow Crash (Neal Stephenson)
These are all great reads for me this 2012. Period. They enriched me and I’m always grateful for that. My only regret is that I failed to read more books. Hope 2013 would be a great year for reading.

Why I’m listing them? Because like some people, I love lists, especially this kind of list.

I also finished the whole Transmetropolitan comic book series by Warren Ellis, which was a great reading experience, by the way.

Third, something cool is in the works for 2013. Wish me luck. I fill you in the details later.

Chivas Regal is calling. And there’s still the countdown to usher in the New Year in some hours.

Cheers everyone! Hope you’d a great year, too. Feel free to tell us about your best moments and highlights in 2012 in the comment below.

The End of An Era

It was a great, enjoyable ride till it lasted.

Thanks Manny Pacquiao for all the memorable fights and for making me a hardcore boxing fan. Well, not so hardcore I suppose as I don’t think I still have the stomach to watch or read about boxing again, at least for a while.

I know it’s coming. Heck, I even predicted it a few weeks before the fight. But I found myself unprepared for all the excruciating feelings associated with a loss like that.

Everything went slow-mo and I was in complete denial. It can't be Pacquiao face-flat on the canvass, not moving, for a couple of seconds.

I was used to seeing his opponents doing that part in many of his fights. It can't be Pacquiao. Just give him the chance to get up, beat the 10-second count. Please. Get up.

Still he remained there. His trainer Freddie Roach, cornermen, the ring doctor coming over him, checking him, all those standard medical procedure bit.

I downed a tall glass of whiskey. I watched the replay. The vicious fucking counter overhand right did it. And there goes the man. There goes Manny Pacquiao. There goes the end of an era of boxing.

I went to the Norkis Park after that, played a couple of pick up basketball games. All they talked about was the fight. I went to a corner away from them. I focused on winning my games and I did won both of them.

I still don't want to talk about it. My boxing fan heart is bleeding, hurting bad, testing my hardcore boxing resolve.

I'll be back when I'm back, more prepared for something like this. But not now or tomorrow or for the coming days, maybe weeks, or months. I don't know. Just not right now.

Anyway, for all that has happened, good or bad, in boxing, that’s the reality of the sport. And that makes it so compelling.

Sunday Random Thoughts: Shitty Weather, Transmetropolitan, Renato Madrid, etc...

- I woke up early at 6. Check the weather, take a shit. Check the weather again. Mild rain showers. Apparently not a good time to play basketball.

- Fixed a cup of coffee, a handful of biscuits, and turn on the laptop. Read the news on Mike Brown’s firing and the Lakers’ search for a new miracle worker/coach on Yahoo! Sports and ESPN NBA. Read everything I could find about the Miami Heat. First good news of the day: James and Wade practicing.

- Read some tweets.

- Now need a fix of Transmetropolitan. Have you read it? Know Spider Jerusalem? Cripes. Tell you what this is easily one of my best reads this year. I’ve heard of this comics, created by Warren Ellis, two years before while hooked on Hellblazer, in which Warren also had a wild, awesome run as a John Constantine scribe taking the good ol bastard to hell and back.

Meet John and Spider. They could be twins.

- November. There are still a few weeks to burn and catch up with my reading goal. As usual I bullshitted myself into committing to read 100 books this year. Hey, it’s an aim-for-the-moon-hit-the-eagle kind of goal and I think I am doing a decent job. Not good enough, but still…

- I was around 22 when I got the chance to teach Philosophy and Humanities in a college in Leyte.

- You’re old than you care to admit when you start talking about things that start with “back in the day” or “way back when.”

- In college I was like a sponge absorbing everything they taught me inside and outside the classroom. I was lucky to have excellent teachers like Fathers Joseph Tan, Dennis Villarojo, Ramon Echica, Leonilo Igloria, and, of course, Msgr. Rudy Villanueva aka Renato Madrid. Couldn’t ask for more. I'd my share of not good teachers too. Forget their names now.

- This rain isn’t stopping any time soon, and it may be for my own good. Now I can’t do anything but stay in my nook and scribble these things jumping off my head.

- A cup of coffee and my 7th cigarette and I’m still sleepy.

- When I lay down and close my eyes, I become restless. My brain roams, my conscience pricks and my heart admonishes me for being lazy.

- Need a drink.
